Paint Rock Farm Elopement | Savanna & Jacob

We were so excited to finally get the chance to work at the new venue in Hot Springs, Paint Rock Farm. This stunning venue sits on 162 sprivate acres with mountain views and a prime spot on the French Broad River. It’s about as close to paradise as I have ever seen – both a photographer’s and couple’s dream! We love this location for our elopement services because sometimes the weather just doesn’t cooperate. Paint Rock Farm has a restored historic barn that is great for a backup plan or for cake and dancing after the wedding. Breathtaking views are right outside the doorstep for taking photos when the weather lets up.

I love Savanna and Jacob’s love story, and I’ll let them tell you about it:

“Jacob and I have known each other forever. Quite literally, as long as I can remember. His parents live a few houses down from my grandmother. It was not until middle school that we really became friends. We remained friends throughout middle school and high school. It wasn’t until we were at different colleges that our friendship grew stronger than ever before and we decided to give dating a shot. As it turned out, dating your best friend worked!

“We chose Asheville for two reasons: it was where we spent our first New Year’s Eve, and the views are incredible. We knew Paint Rock Farm was exactly where we wanted to get married the second we saw it. It is peaceful, beautiful, and makes you feel free!”

Savanna & Jacob saw the arbor at Paint Rock Farm and decided to add on an absolutely beautiful flower design by our own Flourish Flower Farm, which paired perfectly with their “lush” bouquet & boutonniere – one of my favorite color combinations for locations with vibrant green backdrops like this. The bright colors are exceptionally great for distant shots and help create a focal point.

Savanna’s dress was just gorgeous with the sheer back, flowing lace, and satin buttons – so elegant! Their first look photos are amazing. You can really see the whole thing unfold out in the open field. I also had Jenny from Heart is Tree Studioswith me, and I can’t wait to see the wedding video! Congratulations to this lovely couple!
