Elopement at Glassmine Falls & Craggy Dome | Pam & Neil

No matter when you meet the love of your life, there’s nothing better than that magical moment when you both just know. You know that this is the partnership you’ve been waiting for, and this is the person you’re excited to spend the rest of your life adventuring, loving, and laughing with.

Pam and Neil met online, but soon after meeting in person, they both had that knowing feeling. He is actually from Asheville, NC, and she is from Spartanburg, SC, so meeting up wasn’t too difficult. Plus, they were both ready for a new adventure. They dated for another extraordinary six months and quickly discovered that when you know, you know. Why wait any longer? He proposed on a sunset walk among the verdant gardens at Biltmore Estate, and of course, she said yes! Together, they love challenging trail runs, scenic biking, glorious sunsets, and charcuterie boards!  He’s an avid golfer, and she loves to cycle with her freewheelers – how cool is that?! Is there anything these two don’t do?

So, it was only fitting that these two outdoor lovers decided to tie the knot under the blue North Carolina sky. Pam and Neil were wanting mountain view and lots of trails. Already familiar with our work and adventurous elopement packages, they scheduled a sunny summertime ceremony, attended by their immediate family members, in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. It was absolutely gorgeous and so sweet to watch as their family surrounded them in love!

Right before the hike up to Glassmine Fallsand Craggy Dome, my associate Amy (who shot this beautiful elopement) asked Pam what she was most looking forward to. Pam responded, “Looking into each other’s eyes and knowing that the last 50 years of our lives will be the happiest, most adventurous life we’ve always dreamed of.”
