Asheville Mountain Elopements | Elopement Planner

When I first started getting into photography, I didn’t know where it would take me, but I was excited to find out. My heart constantly longs for adventure and I love every chance I get to capture the beauty of life in nature, people, and experiences. While living in Asheville, NC, I have enjoyed watching all of the couples who come through wanting to elope in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains. It made sense to combine my love for adventure, my passion for people, and my eye for photography by becoming an Asheville mountain elopements photographer and offering all-inclusive packages to make the planning as simple as possible! I can’t imagine a more fulfilling career – it certainly doesn’t feel like a job to me.

Taylor and Lance reached out to me not long ago about doing an intimate elopement at Black Balsam – just the two of them, our favorite! They are from New Hampshire and love the outdoors as much as we do! They hang out and explore the White Mountains often with their two four-legged companions, and Black Balsam has a strong resemblance to our mountains with the layers of undulating peaks and valleys. Normally they have their two awesome doggies along with them on their hikes, but they wanted to truly focus on their love and this exciting step they’re taking together.

These two nature lovers got engaged in Sedona on a hike, so it’s only fitting for them to have a mountainside marriage ceremony. We loved the symbolism in Lance’s wedding band with etched trees – a super creative and unique alternative to a traditional band. We even had two witnesses: hikers walking by who were excited to take part and congratulate the new Mr. and Mrs. The couple’s first kiss up on the hilltop with the breeze blowing and sun shining was absolutely magical.

Giving couple’s this once-in-a-lifetime experience to elope in the mountains – complete with champagne toasts – makes our hearts so happy! It’s truly a pleasure to help adventurous couples with the mountaintop ceremony of their dreams! It’s such a blessing to be an Asheville Elopements Photographer!
