Asheville Outdoor Elopement Photographer | Elope to Asheville

I love the simplicity of elopement wedding days and the chance to capture that love as a Asheville Elopement Photographer.  A couple’s wedding day is a celebration of their love, and their desire to start their lives together.  An elopement celebrates this in a unique way by truly being a celebration of just the two of them.  I’ve heard couples say that by eloping rather than focusing on the distractions that come with a big wedding they are able to intimately focus on the one thing that matters the most about a wedding day: the love between the couple.

About this elopement

In true elopement fashion Lindsey and Josiah contacted me only a few days before they wanted to get married.  They are both from Florida but knew they wanted to get married at the Botanical Gardens in Ashville.  The upcoming date they set is very special to the couple as it is the three year anniversary of their first date.  They beautifully involved their six month old son Elliot who was a doll throughout the ceremony.  Nick McDonald gave a beautiful ceremony for the couple that elegantly captured the joy and love between the two.

I love the details that Lindsey and Josiah put into their wedding, even with a short amount of time to do so.  Lindsey’s dress was gorgeous and fit her classic and graceful spirit.  In my time of shooting elopements for Asheville Outdoor Elopements I have seen all kinds of footwear for brides.  I’ve seen brides sport hiking boots with pink leg warmers, cowboy boots, and flats.  I was impressed by how poised Lindsey remained in her blue heels while hiking through to their ceremony site.

Josiah looked dapper in his leather bow-tie and vest.  Not to be outdone, Elliot was adorable in his white outfit during their ceremony, and then changed into the most adorable sweater, bowtie and hat ensemble.  The day ended as picturesque as it started with Lindsey and Josiah having their first dance in the middle of a lush field.  Congratulations to Lindsey and Josiah and I wish you nothing but joy and blessings as you start your married life together!
