As a Beautiful Asheville Mountain Elopement Photographer my heart just melted capturing these special moments for this beautiful couple and their family! From the lush, coastal marshlands of Louisiana to the crisp mountain air of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Lisa and Josh traveled north for a gorgeous mountaintop elopement. They each brought along their two handsome sons and one of the son’s lovely girlfriend to experience this momentous day.

A Beautiful Mountaintop Moment

Lisa and Josh booked their elopement package through my elopement site: Elope Outdoors, and Flourish Flower Farm created the bride’s exquisite bouquet and the groom’s eye-catching boutonniere. The vibrant magenta and emerald colors popped against the golden fields and blue sky—Flourish Farm always does a fantastic job of pulling a look together. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather. Pretty golden leaves dotted the evergreen backdrop, and crisp, early-fall air added to the joyful excitement of the day. I think it was exactly the serene mountain atmosphere they were looking for on their big day.

These newlyweds were so easy to photograph. I loved capturing Lisa’s gorgeous, captivating eyes—she truly looked radiant atop the mountain in her wedding dress. And Josh looked so handsome and happy as he picked up his new bride and kissed her on the summit with the blue-tinted mountain range stretching across the background. Their family is so sweet, and I enjoyed getting to know them. It was so special for Lisa and Josh to have their sons by their sides as they celebrated their marriage. Even though Lisa’s sons are a little bit older, I think they had just as much fun hiking up the mountain and exploring the trails and Josh’s boys. It was very apparent that they all have such a deep, special bond.
