Blue Ridge Mountain Elopement | Jenna + Ciro | Elope to Asheville

Incredible, unique, and naturally beautiful are the first words that come to mind when thinking about this amazing couple and their gorgeous wedding. Jenna and Ciro came from Greenville, North Carolina, to elope in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Asheville area, and their outdoor/nature elopement was absolutely breathtaking.

Jenna and Ciro are truly so unique and inspirational. I love learning the stories of how the love I have the opportunity to capture through my lens comes to be. They met about eight years ago in college at the University of Central Florida-Orlando and have been together since they were 19 years old. They moved to North Carolina about four years ago, so Ciro could pursue biological research on pesticide effects and complete his PhD at ECU. They now live in eastern North Carolina, where Jenna works as an English teacher at a small rural high school. Since moving, they have taken a trip to the mountains every year, and they have developed a true love and passion for hiking the area. They have hiked all over the Blue Ridge and western North Carolina and have fallen in love with majesty of the mountains and forest and the thrill of feeling so insignificant when looking at such rugged and beautiful land. This past November, Ciro proposed to Jenna at the beautiful Crabtree falls. Jenna described it to be a “magical” moment. Since then, they’ve been dreaming of saying their vows, with flushed cheeks and burning muscles, after hiking a trail to a summit of the Blue Ridge Mountains. As you can see, that dream finally came true!

Their elopement ended up taking place at the pinnacle of Craggy Pinnacle’s trail. I don’t know if it can get any more beautiful and unique than this, guys. Just look at that view! What a location! Offering one of the best 360-degree summit views on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the pinnacle of the Craggy Pinnacle hike was a dream location to photograph such a beautiful couple and wedding. Jenna looked absolutely gorgeous in her lovely dress and rustic, purple flower crown. Ciro was beaming with happiness and love all day! Who can blame him! The day was truly so majestic and enchanting. Every time they looked at each other, I saw nothing but never ending love for one another.

This was truly a dream come true! To photograph such a wonderfully gorgeous couple in such a unique and breathtaking location was such an incredible experience and blessing. I’m sure their future holds many more hikes of the Blue Ridge Mountains as they live happily ever after!
