Some wedding days are filled with elaborate timelines and endless details. Shannon and Jack envisioned something different.

They wanted a day that felt simple, meaningful, and completely focused on what mattered most—celebrating their marriage with a few of their favorite people before beginning the next chapter of their lives together.

On a beautiful May evening, they gathered with six of their closest loved ones for a private ceremony tucked away in an enchanted forest in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Surrounded by fresh spring greenery and the people who mean the most to them, they exchanged vows in a setting that felt peaceful, intimate, and deeply personal.

Their ceremony was filled with sweet moments, heartfelt smiles, and the kind of calm that comes when you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Rather than feeling rushed or overwhelmed, Shannon and Jack were able to fully soak in each moment with their family and friends.

After family photos and hugs all around, the two of them slipped away for a private couples session overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway. Early May is one of our favorite times in the mountains, when the landscape is bursting with fresh green leaves and the long-range views seem to stretch on forever.

As newlyweds, Shannon and Jack were playful, affectionate, and completely wrapped up in the joy of the day. Whether they were sharing a laugh, holding hands as they admired the mountain views, or simply soaking in the reality that they were finally married, their happiness was impossible to miss.
