Mountain Family Elopement | Ashley & Ben

Ashley and Ben had a gorgeous family elopement on Black Balsam mountaintop. They came to us from Greensboro, North Carolina. They wanted to come to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains to get married. This area has a special place in both of their hearts because they got engaged at Hanging Rock State Park this past fall.

These two (and their families) were a dream to work with! Ashley and Ben were so sweet and super romantic. We loved it! Ashley looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding gown! Her beautiful flowers were from Flourish Flower Farm. After their ceremony, we had a family photography session. I love that the family color-coordinated their outfits! It made for really beautiful images that they will likely want to hang on their walls. I could tell that their families were extremely happy!

After family photos, they had some time to themselves. They had a little picnic with champagne and a cake from Short Street Cakes! It was such a beautiful and romantic setting. It was so sweet that they wanted to spend this time celebrating just the two of them. It was also the “flower moon” which made it even more special. I got to capture a few cool images with the moon in the shots. We love that they wore hiking boots with their fancy wedding attire. Our kind of people!
