Mountaintop Elopement Photographer | Sarah and Zain

Have I told you all that I LOVE elopements yet? Yes?…Well I’ll say it again. I love elopements! Being a Mountaintop Elopement Photographer my heart melts capturing the sweet pure moments of love. Couples like Sarah and Zain remind me of that fact. The deep, profound, yet simple love that they share brought them together on this beautiful North Carolina day, and I’m proud to say I was lucky enough to capture every step.

A Ceremony to Remember

Originally from Charlotte, they knew they wanted to sneak away to the mountains with their closest family and friends. On top of that mountain, Sarah and Zain shared sweet moments, and sweet words, sealing the deal with a kiss and a smile. Witnessing this love was Sarah’s sisters, who stepped in as her bridesmaids. What a special memory this will be for their entire family as they look back on this one perfect day. Niki with Flourish Flower Farm did an outstanding job, as usual. Just look at those bouquets! Truly, they are each works of art.

They opted for an unplugged ceremony, which I am a HUGE fan of. No cell phones, no cameras. Just them, their closest companions and each other. That’s all they needed, and it was perfect. Unplugged ceremonies also make for beautiful photos. No one is stooped over their phone; no iPhone flashes must be edited out. Plus, it allowed for the guests to be engaged in the special ceremony. I encourage couples to tell their guests to leave their phones and cameras in the car. They are investing in professional photography and videography, and the phones are a huge distraction oftentimes. I just loved that each attendee was engaged and invested.
