There is nothing more gorgeous than a simple, raw elopement.  Especially when the wedding couple is as adorable as these two,   Megan and Mike met in one of the most deliciously simple ways; by moving in together as roommates.   Over the course of a year, their friendship evolved and the two became close.   When Megan’s job offered her a home nearer to her work, the time came for her to move out.   But, the two remained friends and began to date, their friendship grew into a beautiful life together.   5 years later that story brings us to a freezing cold day in the wilderness of Asheville, North Carolina.

About Mike & Megan

Mike and Megan were married at Wisemans View at the Linville Gorge.   From raw, emotional vows to genuine smiles and laughter, their strong and personal love story resonated through every detail of their outdoor elopement.   Surrounded by nature and stunning views, Megan glowed in her stunning lace wedding dress, perfectly fit to show off her tiny growing baby bump.  Mike and Megan were absolute troopers, smiling cheek to cheek and gazing at each other with nothing but love in their eyes. When snuggling wasn’t quite enough, these two troopers battled the cold with hot cocoa.   And, of course, nothing goes with hot cocoa like cupcakes.

Mike and Megan’s wedding showcased their love in a way that is uniquely their own.   Their goal was a stress-free, outdoor elopement in nature, and they managed to completely nail it in each and every aspect of their intimate ceremony.
