Asheville Winter Garden Elopement | Jessica & Eduardo

These two met while traveling in Brazil. Since then, they’ve traveled around to many places as a couple. They ended up loving New Zealand so much that they decided to live in Queenstown, New Zealand. They actually eloped there previous to this family elopement ceremony. They showed me the photos from the experience, and they were amazing! I could definitely see why they had settled on that location.

About these wanderlusters

Because they are wanderlusters who still have close ties and deep love for family, they decided to return to Jessica’s home in Asheville and elope here as well in order to be with the ones they love and ask them to be a part of their great commitment. Their family was very grateful to get the chance to witness their gorgeous vows to each other, and it was easy to see that Jessica and Eduardo appreciated their love and support in return. It was such a heartwarming ceremony!

We originally planned to have the elopement on the Blue Ridge parkway, but it was so rainy and cloudy up there we could barely see in front of us—not ideal for spectacular views. So, I suggested the idyllic Asheville Botanical Gardens to accommodate the multi-generational family and not require any hiking. Thankfully it turned out to be a great backup plan! And by looking at Jessica and Eduardo’s faces, it didn’t really matter where they were as long as they were together.

They have a beautiful relationship, Jessica is always laughing around him, and Eduardo was constantly kissing her—it was sweet and so easy to capture some natural, candid photos of the newlyweds. They also had some beautiful, personalized touches like a handmade vow book. They amazingly made their rings and had a handcrafted ring box to match! For their champagne toast, they drank from unique animal tusks they acquired during their travels—so cool!
