Jaclyn and James found and booked me as their Elopement Photographer through my site Elope Outdoors. They were looking for something intimate, romantic, and adventurous, so they exchanged a traditional wedding ceremony for something even more extraordinary. Their special day started off at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Biltmore Village. This gorgeous boutique hotel in Asheville, North Carolina has it all—a beautiful, eclectic art gallery, unique guest rooms, and a wonderful restaurant called The Red Stag (which is a great choice for a special after-elopement dinner and celebration).
After pictures at the hotel, we headed up the scenic Craggy mountains, into the crisp air and spectacular views, where they had their breathtaking sunset elopement ceremony. To make it even more special and memorable, they brought along their most loyal pup, and Jaclyn made a few homemade signs to display for portraits to announce their elopement. The sun provided the perfect glow, and they looked like they were soaring above the clouds as they said their vows. Michael, their officiant, made the moment so special by allowing plenty of time for them to soak in the moment. After the ceremony, Jaclyn and James cut their cake under the setting sun and toasted to new adventures with champagne. This experience will be truly unforgettable and hard to top. But I have no doubt that these two adventure lovers will find many more sunsets to chase.
Jaclyn and James were so sweet and so happy with their elopement evening. It was such an honor to capture their magical day. Their zeal for life and excitement for adventure will stick with me for sure—I had so much fun watching them. As the Asheville Sunset Elopement Photographer I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect sunset for such a beautiful couple, it all just made my heart melt! Congratulations you two!
