Don’t you just love a good love story? Pattie and Kyle share such a bond. They are high school sweethearts have been together for over 10 years. They decided that Max patch was the perfect spot for them to start their life together as a married couple, and I couldn’t agree more.

A Walk To Remember

I always like to get to know my clients a little better before capturing their elopements. When I asked them about their engagement, Patty answered, “Well, It just kind of happened. We decided years ago that we wanted to elope and that we didn’t really want an engagement, and that one day we would just know in a moment and then we would get married. That moment came at the end of the May this year while on a walk around Auburn, we were just talking and laughing and we started joking about different places we wanted to visit and how they would work for an elopement venue and then it just turned into a serious conversation. Before we knew it we both decided it would be cool to get married on our 10 year dating anniversary ( or close to it) and started looking online for venues.”

How cool is that? I think this is why I love elopements so much. Weddings don’t have to be big or Nate, dramatic events. They can be beautiful, simple moments. Too hard to know they don’t want to spend another day apart, the rest is history.
