Asheville Glamping Destination Elopement Photographer | Dana and Pace

Love is an adventure. Marriage is a journey in which you promise someone else the passenger seat to experience life along side you for the rest of your days. Some couples go all out with planning their wedding. They spend months picking the perfect venue, food, flowers, and guest lists. Others choose to elope and have an intimate ceremony where the memories are reserved for just the two of them. Along, of course, with the officiant and photographer. I feel so lucky when I get to witness these sweet moments!

A Destination Elopement

Dana and Pace drove down from Ohio to elope in Asheville, North Carolina. They are very simplistic and passionate about committing to each other without all the fluff and frills that often accompany a big wedding. Together they made their way down, stopping in different locations and camping along the way. They finally arrived at Asheville Glamping, where they found an adorable yurt with gorgeous mountain views. I met them there for a pre-wedding pajama and coffee session, where it was so easy to see how effortless and true their love was for one another. After coffee, they got dressed and the officiant, Barrett, arrived.

We ducked off behind their yurt for a beautiful ceremony with unbeatable views. Dana and Pace read sweet vows to each other, and a flock of birds flew overhead as Pace recited his vows to his bride. It was picture perfect, and I felt so honored to share in this elopement with such a wonderful couple. Their trek to Asheville will undoubtedly be one of their favorite memories as they begin their journey through life together as husband and wife. I know their adventures have only just begun!
