Asheville Fall Craggy Mountain Elopement | Alycia and Colt

Getting married is such a special time in your life. It’s a time that you want to relive over and over and will simply cherish forever. For Alycia and Colt, they wanted their Asheville Fall Craggy Mountain Elopement to be an intimate experience. It was important to them to have it documented properly so they could go back and reminisce about their special day. I was so thrilled to work with these two, as they are such genuinely sweet and beautiful people!

Alycia and Colt decided on getting married at Craggy Mountain off Blue Ridge Parkway, and let me tell you, it was breathtaking. There couldn’t have been a better place for them to exchange vows, kisses, and love. Our day started with me picking up Alycia and driving her to Craggy. Meanwhile Colt and our officiant, Nick, were waiting for us on the mountain top. Although Alycia and Colt were married in a non-conventional way, it was important for the bride to wait for her husband to see her until she walked down the aisle. I brought a speaker and played “I Get to Love You” by Ruelle as she walked to him and her future. I loved that Alycia decided on this, as it truly made for a beautiful moment. It was so sweet to see Colt grin ear to ear as his beautiful bride walked towards him.

After the ceremony, Alycia and Colt had their first dance song to “All of the Above” by T. Carter. It was the perfect song for their intimate day. We stayed around for the sunset, and we were able to capture their sweet kisses set against the setting sun. Altogether, Alycia and Colt had a spectacular elopement. I am certain that their day on the mountain top is just the start of something very, very special. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
