Asheville Mountain Elopement at Paint Rock Farm in Hot Springs NC //Elope Outdoors ~ Asheville

Briana & Taylor have been together for 4.5 years. They met at a party in college when we were both students at UAB. They danced together that night and the rest is history!

Briana, tell us about when her & Taylor got engaged: “Taylor took me on a hike at one of our favorite local state parks. He was acting kind of shady but I was oblivious, until we stopped for a water break at a beautiful waterfall and I turned around to find him on one knee. I was definitely surprised but so happy!”

B & T enjoy hiking together or doing anything outside, and board games, although they can both get a little competitive! They go to trivia at least once a week and are always down to watch Jeopardy! They also love trying new restaurants and good craft beer. Taylor is an avid disc golfer, and Briana also likes to read and nap.

Why did they choose to get married in Asheville?  “Throughout our relationship we have connected the most while we are hiking or spending time together outdoors. Even our proposal was on a hike! Getting married in an intimate setting surrounded by our immediate family and nature seemed like a perfect start to the rest of our lives. Asheville is beautiful and will be a perfect setting and place to return in the future.”

What are you two most looking forward to on your wedding day? “We are most excited about the marriage, not just the wedding day, but we are excited for our day to be memorable in sharing our love with each other as best friends and with our families in a beautiful setting. Also cake!”
