Asheville Garden Elopement | Janny & Tim

Spring has sprung here in Asheville, North Carolina, and we are LOVING all of these beautiful elopements and engagements. We’ve had one after another, and we’re enjoying every minute of it. Janny and Tim live in Shanghai, China. What an honor that they found us online at Elope Outdoors and chose to book an elopement package with us! I enjoyed getting to know this lovely couple and hearing about their travels. They also have a pretty sweet love story:

Janny and Tim met in December of 2015 in a popular club in Shanghai called LeBaron. They were with different groups of friends but started talking as soon as they saw each other, and they haven’t been apart since!

Tim proposed on the coast of BigSur in California with the sunset glowing on the horizon—so romantic! Of course, she said, “YES!” and here they are. They both enjoy spending time with friends as well as traveling and experiencing different cultures (and tasting new food that comes with it!) Just like their garden elopement here in Asheville, these two are always up for a new adventure!

Since they currently live so far away, I asked why they chose Asheville. I found out that Tim grew up in North Carolina and took Janny to Asheville in the end of 2016, where she fell in love with the scenery, so they decided to return for an intimate elopement. Since they live in one of the world’s most dynamic cities, they looked forward to a picturesque wedding day that reflected simplicity and love. Their immediate family members stood by their sides—gathered in a place of natural beauty—to celebrate their love and companionship. Their lives are busy enough on a daily basis, so they wanted to take the time to truly relish their special day with a calm, quiet, and deliberate step into our future together.
