Morning Mountaintop Elopement in Asheville | Corinne and Brandon
Corrine and Brandon planned a morning time elopement – just the two of them, our favorite! Having their Asheville elopement at Black Balsam in the morning meant that we could avoid the crowds and they could have the entire day to celebrate. We had a few amazing local vendors that helped to complete their day including Michael, who was the officiant, and Flourish Flower Farm, who made Corrine’s bouquet.
About the newlyweds
They chose to get married in Asheville because they had been wanting to visit for over a year! Brandon usually travels on weekend for work so their weekend getaway kept getting pushed back. Corrine says, “We had talked about eloping but never really made any official plans. I was just accepted into a three year masters program that starts in the fall, so I am about to be focusing on school for a while and unable to take time off or travel much. Neither of us wanted to wait to be married, so we decided to go ahead and do it this summer.”
Corrine and Brandon said that based on pictures they had seen of Asheville they thought they would feel right at home and enjoy themselves which is why they decided it was the place they wanted to get married. They made a pre-honeymoon trip out of it! Some of their favorite parts about Asheville are the gorgeous views, delicious food, and tasty beer.
When they were chatting with me about finding their Asheville elopement photographer, Corrine said,”I love that we’re taking such a nontraditional route, and can’t wait to be in such a beautiful place, just the two of us.”
Thank you Corrine and Brandon for making the trip to beautiful Asheville for your elopement! And be sure to get in touch if you’d like to book an elopement with me!
